Geneva Motor Show 2017: Renault Captur gets midlife update

Published 08 March 2017

Renault launched the revised Captur at the Geneva Motor Show. The Clio-based crossover gets minor styling tweaks, LED headlight signatures and more colour choices. Prices will start from £14,500 when the facelifted Captur is launched in the summer.

The Renault Captur doesn't get any radical changes, although there is a new front grille, splashes of chrome and LED daytime running lights. Renault has added front and rear skid plates too, which aligns the Captur's design with that of the Renault Scenic.

The engine line up remains unchanged  with two petrols and one diesel – which means the most efficient version is still the 1.5 dCi that will provide an advertised 76.3mpg.

However, there are more personalisation packs, with two new body colours - desert orange and ocean blue - along with new roof colour schemes that add 36 two-tone body colour combinations to the range. LED headlights are also available as a paid-for option, along with a fixed glass roof.

I completely understand your frustration. I’ve relied on similar Google Assistant features for everyday tasks like listening to audiobooks while walking my dog, so it's disappointing to see useful automations being removed. It seems odd that such a helpful feature would be discontinued, especially for those of us who use it regularly. Hopefully, Google reconsiders these changes. On a related note, when I was struggling to balance my studies, I found that essaypro.com/research-proposal-writing-service EssayPro helped me with essay and research proposal writing, saving me a lot of time. It’s worth checking out
