Ford are claiming that a spark plug is responsible for bore damage leading to a replacement of the no.4 short block.This has led to a bill of £3500 which dealers have agreed to pay half. They are refusing the claim because spark plugs are only vcovered for one year. This is despite not proving to me that it was a plug and not some other cause .
