Ford Focus - Power Steering - takuhii

Does anyone know why I might struggle to turn left in my Ford Focus 2.0 TDCI DuraTorq?

Sometimes, not all the time, it's harder to turn left than right, and there's a weird noise like someone rustling paper when I turn the wheel left.

I've checked the fluid and it's topped right up, any ideas?

If it has an engine driven pump check that the belt is tight.

I have no idea. Could be worth me getting it down the garage and having them check it over by the sounds of it.
