I have been.I was asked initiallly by letter, then a phone call; I suspect because I already belong to some web market survey sites. It was held at Eton, over about 4 days and my guess is they had 100 or so people each day. You were initially asked to complete data about yourself- age, income, car-buying history, etc. Then given a PDA to carry, which directed you to answer questions....in a hall there were 4 SUVs, all in silver-CRV,Tiguan, Rav 4 and an unnamed Nissan. You had to answer repeated questions about design, space, quality, about the exterior and interior of each. Respondents were carefully policed to make sure they did not talk to each other. Then you ere taken to an area with a Quashqi and asked to comment again. Finally there was a surevy about how much each car was worth, and this included others not there in the flesh, such as Kuga. Some respondents- not me,- were asekd to stay back for interviews and group discussion, for which they paid a bonus on top of the basic £100. My observation was that the CRV is still a good car but looks old; the RAV4 is past it; the Tiguan is OK; and the Nissan prototype suffered too much from an attempt to fit it into the styling mode of the hideous Juke.It all took about 2.25 hours
