Never had this problem with mine.

Release Cable broken?

or just jammed lock?

try the Ford Mondeo Forums- there may be a fix.

Moved to Technical - although you could help by being more specific. For example, is that one of the Fords where the bonnet is opened by turning the key in the badge on the grille, or is it a cable with an internal release?
