Ford Focus Zetec - Gearbox? - wxmmel

Hi I have a focus zetec collection W plate, and there is a clunking noise when the car is just ticking over and the same when you start off in first gear, once you move up to second the sound disappears.

Does anyone have any experiance of this and what it may be?

Does it stop if you push the clutch down and do you get it in reverse?

No it doesn't stop when I push the clutch down only when I go into second gear, and no noise when in reverse.
