I've been told that I need to have the pulley replaced and am amazed at the prices that are being quoted, the latest one being £170+VAT for the part.

Looking around the net it would seem that after market ones or those sourced at breakers are not of very good quality and represent a false economy. it would seem that that the oem one is suppled by Dayco but I cannot find that anywhere.

Has anyone had the puley replaced on their 1.8tdci 115 Focus using aftermarket, if so how does it perform and where was it sourced from.

There is one on Ebay for £99 and i'm very tempted considering the other prices I've been quoted.

I would also appreciate it if anyone can let me know where the Dayco one can be bought from, apart from Ford of course, Hoping it will be cheaper at a different supplier.
