bmw 328i convertible, 1998/s - bmw e36 cabby seat wont tilt forward, broken cable - carnut1980

hi all my passenger seat no longer tilts forward, the lever has no resistance, i assume the back of the seat needs to come off? is this an easy job? i cant see any screws? cheers
