Honda City 4-door - Rear end rattle/rumbling noise - ITR

I have a rattle/rumbling noise coming from the underside of my 56 reg Civic. It appears to be coming from the area between the front seats and the rear end. It's not coming from the exhaust, the noise occurs on poor road surfaces and pot holes in the roads. It almost sounds like something rattling in the boot!

Has anybody experienced this problem!
