Hi. I have to replace a leaking rear brake cylinder and am told there are two different ones used on this model. Slightly different bore size. While I'm in there I will change the shoes and both cylinders but looking at the new cylinders there is no obvious difference between them. "bought both sizes and can take unused ones back". Question is does it matter so long as the cylinders each side are the same? and if so how can I tell, do I need to strip new and old cylinder and measure the internal bores? Many thanks.. Ian..

Yes it matters, it will alter the front to rear brake balance. Roll back the end cover on the cylinder and measure the diameter of the old one and fit the correct new ones. Regards Peter
