I have water after heavy rain in the front passenger foot well which appears to trickle down the wall between the back of the dashboard and the engine compartment.
Any ideas?

it tavels down the pollen filter housing. a common problem. You need to try to find a way to seal it up. Also check the pollen filter is not wet. It trickles down the gap and down the back of the dash to the footwell.

Some people i know change the pollen filter and the silicone it up, but i would not incase you need it off again.

Hi, I had exactly the same thing on a peugeot 205 I had. It was a blocked drain hole. Water drains through a hole below the windscreen and out infront of the door if I remember right. Have a look for the drain and make sure its free of crud and maybe poke something long and thin down there. Do it from both sides and then flush through with some water. Hope that cures the problem!
