Passenger side electric window has stopped working. Check fuse ok, drivers side works ok.
Stripped trim from door to expose motor. Disconnected motor put circuit tester into oneside of the electrical connector pressed the down button, tester says current there, did the same to the other connection it says current there when up button pressed. Removed motor, reconnected wiring press down button nothing happens, press the up button and the gear rotates. Thought it was motor, went to breakers yard, tried another motor before purchasing, this motor responded the same way!
Has anybody come across this.

I would suggest check the wiring in the multi-plug connectors on the door pillars.Carefully unscrew the plastic bayonet collar .This will release the wiring harness from door to pillar and then peel back the rubber corrugated sleeve to inspect the wiring.Probably find all the wires are black in colour,so take a close look and inspect for breaks where the wire exits the plug.hth

Been away sorry for not up-dating. Got it in one drivers side electrical connector loose removed and refitted - sorted.
