Despite all their crying, I see that no motor manufacturer has yet to close down permanently .
Looking a bit like the boy who cried wolf. Perhaps the smell of easy money has been in the air, wafted across from the banks bail outs.

GM said yesterday that GM Europe will be out of money very soon. They may partially spin-off GM Europe (but not cut it totally adrift like Saab) if the governments give some money.
So I don't think anyone is safe yet.
