could anyone tell me if the hot and cold control for the heater connects to a valve which if so, i pressume is stuck in the cold position. is it possible to open manually, oh and where is the damn thing any help much apprieciated thanks banter

There is no heater control valve on these.The hot/cold variation is done by a bowden cable operated from a geared drive from the rotary heater control to a flap and lever visible from drivers footwell area.It is common for the cable to kink and come adrift from the fixing clips .If you reach up behind dash, the lever can be operated by hand.hth
