00 1.8 - Lacks Power - Mondy Man
Hi guys,

I have a 1.8 Mondeo Verona (LX) with the 16v Zetec engine. With 92k on it, Ive serviced it every 10000k since I bought the car at 30k.

In the last three months I've had a new cat, clutch and drive shafts. Car seemed to going well, but over the last couple of weeks the performance seems to have dropped off. No problems sitting at motorway speeds but accelerating up to sixty feels like an effort. (Thashing it to get very little acceleration)

Any reccomendations as to get the old gal running abit better? Tuning maybe?

check the HT leads. Also check you haven't cracked a spark plug by over tightening.
