So i bought a second hand Laguna 2 3.0 2002 and i love it but recently i've noticed a problem.

If i'm stopped and in auto, when i let go of the brake and push the accelerator there is a jerk and then the power comes. I've played around with this and i found that there is about a second delay between when i let go of the brake and when the throttle kicks it with a little jerk, however if i release the brake and then jump on the throttle right away there is a large jerk. This only happens in the full auto mode and is getting rather annoying.

Anyone know if this a known issue or whats wrong?

Hi plusgood 15, have you checked the transmission fluid level? You need to take the car on a good fifteen mile run to get it up to correct operating temp then check on level ground with engine running and transmission in park. If it needs topping up check the owners manual for the type you need. Good luck

If it is gearbox then it sounds like a lazy solonoid if a drain down and refill does not improve matters then its a strip down job.
