I sincerely hope not! Dreadful things that scream LOOK AT ME! much like chrome-plated spinning wheel hubs. Goodness only knows what possessed the EU to make these mandatory (and make motorcycles less visible).

Once it was Volvos and Saabs that had running lights now every body thinks they need to turn their headlights on at the first sign of moisture on the windscreen. Lights draw attention
and dazzle oncoming drivers. It seems to me that some drivers automatically switch their headlights irrespective of weather. The use of headights, indicators, etc should be in accordance with conditions. i.e. when visibility is seriously reduced generally when you cannot see more than 100 metres but must be switched of when visibilty improves.

From experience any bright light in daylight is a distraction.

can't stand those Audi LEDs. Makes the drivers look like pink fluffy dice

Proper DRLs (not headlights) are a great idea, they stop idiots driving with no, or side (parking) lights in poor visibility. I hope you can get some sensible advice, retrofit your Audi, and improve safety for all.

Some drivers appear to think they need to turn their headlights on regardless of the weather or visibility conditions. Soon there'll be so many lights that it will become difficult to distinguish the essential lights (moving or otherwise) from the unnecessary lights.

Yes, but is it possible to fit the new A4 headlights to the B7 A4?

Ona general motoring board you may not get an answer as you are relying on someone with that car, who has done that procedure being registered on the site.

Try a dedicated Audi website for an answer. audi-sport.net is one I used to visit for detailed advice.

Yes you can fit LED/DRL to the Audi A4 B7.

BUT.............. it will probably be best to get a complete new headlight set with the LED/DRL built into them, E-bay is your best option and they cost around £299 for a pair of headlights. The bumper will need to come off to fit them new headlights and most of them are plug and play so very easy to install (once the bumper is off).

Hope this helps!

I'm sure it'll be helpful to those looking in now, but bear in mind that the original question was asked two years ago!
