Help me spend some money on eBay - mike hannon
I've been away for a couple of weeks and when I tried to get into eBay classic cars on my return, for my usual browse and dream, I found everything changed.
Instead of a list of 'classic' cars and a simple search by make there is just a search page with a load of vehicles of all ages and types and a choice of search between 'classic' and 'modern' with options for year - from about 2000! - and things like mileage. In fact, nothing to help someone browsing for an old car.
I've already given up on eBay cars because since they animated the first search page it doesn't work for me at all.
Does this mean I now can't look at eBay classic cars either? Or am I missing something simple?
Any ideas welcomed.

The classic car listing listings look exactly the same to me.

Have you clicked on picture gallery, not list view? Looks the same to me as usual.

I use the Ebay UK search box top right in Firefox. If I put in car make and model it goes straight to Ebay's results page. In the left margin there's sub-headings such as parts, models, etc., and one that says "cars". Click on cars.

In a way MH, i'm glad that someone else is having problems with fleabay, since they changed the menu layout some time ago, i have to go through all sorts of hoops to get the selection i want.
Probably just as well, as part of my mid life predicament i have a strange hankering for a chrome and wire wheeled MGB roadster, didn't want one when they were current...why now?

Thanks djt100, that's the one!
I still think it's weird, though.
Yesterday I showed SWMBO the headline on James May's Telegraph piece - he agrees that now is the time to buy a Bentley...
PS: In my opinion all wire wheels should be painted silver or the body colour - none of them were chromed when new and I believe Rolls Royce used to advise that using chrome-plated spoked wheels would invalidate their guarantee, for safety reasons.
