03 1.8d How hard to fit front ABS sensors. - giggles57380
Hi, can anyone tell me how to fit ABS sensors to the front both sides, how long it will roughly take and how hard could it be? It is a 1.8 turbo diesel 2003

How hard was it to use put the required details in the subject line - :-)

I assume you want to renew the sensors, not fit them where none was fitted before.

According to Haynes .......

To remove a front wheel sensor ........... Apply the handbrake and loosen the relevant front wheel nuts. Jack up the front of the vehicle and remove the wheel. Unscrew the sensor mounting bolt from the hub carrier and withdraw the sensor. Remove the sensor wiring loom from the support brackets on the front suspension strut and wheelarch. Disconnect the multi-plug and withdraw the sensor and wiring loom.

Refitting is the reverse of the removal procedure.
