I need a dog guard to keep myself in the back of an audi 80 avant - 1994 ? and apparently these are now obsolete.
If nobody tells me soon where I can find one i swear I'll trash the seats in the old man's car.

You are going to have to be a guide dog for your owner and lead him or her down to just about any good car accessory shop. Even Argos has a dog guard for under £10 but a pampered pooch will probably prefer one of those at £30 plus to be found at the remaining branches of Motorworld or even in Halfords. Cages are another option and they do several for dogs at www.thingsfor-pets.co.uk
Of course, a custom fit for the Audi 80 Avant is going to be an arm and a leg new (if available from VW/Audi) but sometimes turn up in the small ads.
Whisky (whose mean owner only went as far as Argos)

If he can fit one in the car then ask your master to buy you a cage.
Much more effective than guards (which never fit properly and fallover) or harneses (which dogs get tangled in and do not save the seats).

Dear Ella
After I trashed the seats in my master's Audi, he went out and bought me a car of my very own! It's got lovely torn seats that I can rip the foam rubber out of, and it smells of mice. Heaven. Suggest you try the same tactic. Biting through the wires to the rear lights is fun as well.
