2001 2.0 Petrol - Estate - Exhaust Heat Shield - Dan29

Hi all

Could anyone please tell me how the exhaust heat shield (behind the back box, next to the nearside rear wheel arch) on my 2001 Mk3 Mondeo estate (2.0 petrol) should be held on?

Mine has come loose and is rattling around. The Haynes manual doesn't seem to say anything about it.

Most of the heat shields on Fords are secured by large hex self gripping nuts/washer that screws onto threaded studs on the underbody.hth
