(2000 to 2002) 1.3 Heater working on one side. - Fiesta1.3

My fiesta has a really strange problem: I can only get a warm(ish) breeze through the driver's side vents on blower setting 1 and just cold air on settings 2-4. The passenger side blows hot on all settings so I'm sure fluids, matrix and thermostat are OK.

Any help or advice would be deeply appreciated.
