Mk3 - Replacing the Carburetor - milkyjoe
have a prob with carb on the fiesta, the throttle cable anchor(plastic) has broken in to numerous parts as far as im aware it cant be replaced with a new part and needs a carburettor replacement (from the scrappy) would it be an easy job to swap an old for a new old unit as in new gasket and a few undoing of bolts , what's my chances of getting a duff replacement or worse contamination by rain water , the chaps at the scrap yard want £30 for a carb.....thanks

I would try to get new parts. But they are easy to take to bits, brilliant carbs Webers, wish we still had them
