So, to put a twist on the "10 car dream garage" let me ask.....
What would your dream garage be.... but.... all the cars must be from the same manufacturer and have different characteristics... suit different types of driving... but all have the same badge.
We might have to ignore the manufacturers of exotica and supercars, in order to get a good range of cars.
Obviously, we need a 2 seat sports car, a large motorway saloon, a town car, a 4x4 and a people carrier and a classic car for special days, so I'll start the ball rolling with Mercedes.
1. SLK. I'll not be greedy, the 230 Kompressor is fast enough. I want to keep my licence, and I prefer the roof open on sunny days.
2. S class. Diesel for economy and less fuel stops. Maybe a driver to go with it.
3. A second hand A160. Nice high driving position, easy to park in the smallest space, and second hand to I won't cry over car park knocks and dings.
4. ML55AMG. 'nuff said.
5. V class. Loads of space for people or furniture.
6. Gotta be a "gullwing" but I'd settle for a "Dallas" era white SL like Sue Ellen's.
So... what's your dream manufacturer... and the car models...

I don't count Porsche as a supercar manufacturer although they do make one currently and have made a few in the past.

2. An everyday car that outperforms the average Ferrari- 997 Turbo
3. A bit of trackday fun 993RS
4. Daily driver- Cayenne Turbo S
5. Something for the weekend 914/6
Another 5 from BMW
1. M3CSL- for the track
2. E30M3 for the track while the CSL is having yet another clutch fitted
3. Original bread van M3 Coupe with the later M3 engine- because it looks insane
4. Z1 for town
5. M1 just because I'll probably never own one
6. 'Batmobile' CSL- the original lightweight touring car homologation special from BMW
7. X5 with the largest engine possible for trips to the tip etc and to annoy the tree huggers
8. E90 330XD for the odd skiing trip
9. Original M6- I actually have one of these and it's 'pimping'
10. Latest M5 in white with no badges on it.

My car gets hot, but I find the aircon is brilliant - five to ten seconds on cold with the recirculate button pressed and it's positively fridgelike.

* So not the Mayflower, Toledo or Acclaim! Actually the Acclaim wasn't bad - just not very special, whereas in their different ways the ones above all were.
