You'd have to have a Lancia Aprilia from the thirties, and a Light 15 Citroen. An unmolested, stark Model T Ford.
For amusement, a chain drive Frazer Nash. A 1.5 litre V12 Ferrari barchetta from the fifties. A proper Coventry Climax-engined Lotus Elite.
Six already? Transport. A shabby-looking, debadged Audi RS4. A V10 diesel VW Phaeton (does it really exist? Never seen a review). A Citroen C5. A not-too-highly-tuned 1400cc five-speed Mini - a proper Mini of course - for town.
That's ten. Of course there are dozens of others, old and new.

You want to own ten cars ?
What a nightmare !
My dream car is:
owned and paid for by someone else, and garaged elsewhere.
And I want to sit in the back - so no coupes or 2 seaters.
It gets cleaned just before it picks me up and just takes me wherever I'm going.
Yes, I know your kids have got such a car, and I want one too :-)
I used to get ferried around in France by a CX21 with a lovely leather interior - and that would suit me just fine. I'd add a caterham or vx220 for track use - someone else would take it there for me.
Cliff Pope's list is just great :-)
|
Am sure that my selection would come from those mentioned above but (sorry) the tractor would n't make it into my garage - perhaps I'd consider including in my "dream ten vehicle barn" selection.
Would have to find room for a Bugatti Atlantic in prime condition. Must be one of the best looking cars ever designed. I'd also like a Jaguar XK150 please.
|
Bugatti 57SC Atalante RTB? The one with a seam or fin down the middle of the roof?

As I said, there are literally dozens and dozens of utterly fabulous cars, many of them almost attainable...
Only thing keeping some of us alive I sometimes think.
