Steering wheel wobble at 60mph Newfiesta - Ford Dagenham
Hello Backroomers

Wife has a new Fiesta Zetec Climate 1.4 petrol.

We have had it two weeks.

When travelling along at approximately 60mph the steering wheel wobbles and feels light.

What could cause this on a new car?

All help and opinions accepted.

Tyres may have flat spot if its been parked for some weeks, Take back to dealer & have wheels balanced & if no beeter ask for a dynamic balance at a specialist where they remove the tyre & find the heaviest spot of the alloy ,then check the tyre for the heaviest spot & put them opposing each other then rebalance. This is the best method for balancing and saves loads of uggly weights around the wheel.
