Hi,
I am looking for a good quality car stereo that plays CD's & MP3's that doesn't SKIP! To fit into a 51 plate Ford Focus Zetec.
Anyone recommend any? Heard Pioneer or Sony are best?! and where to buy?
Thanks

Not sure if will fit your car, but I have a Parrot Rythem'n'Blues stereo in my car. Not had a problem with the MP3's skipping and it has the added bonus of having built in bluetooth hands free, am very happy with it.

I've got a Panasonic unit and its very good. I've also had a Sony Xplod and was also excellent. For my money I would buy the new 2007 Sony CDX-GT610U which has excellent sound quality, and a USB adaptor on the front for around £120.
You'll probably need a fascia adapter and they seem to be around £7-15

I have always had Alpine for Sound but I have had a Kenwood in the focus past the 6000 CD player for the past 2 weeks.
I would go Alpine for Sound, Kenwood for bells and Whistles !
Instead of the USB adaptors why not go with a Model that takes SD Cards - 2GB Cards can be had for under £10 from Amazon now and are small enough to keep 2 in the ashtray !
6GB Should hold at least 700 songs.
