hi, would the fuel pump off a 1991 2.1td xm fit and run correclty on a r reg citroen xantia 2.1td?

Possibly... this car (ebay?) was discussed on the French Car Forum. The Xantia uses a Lucas EPIC ECU controlled pump, whereas the XM will be a mechanical pump - possibly a Bosch. You would need the pump, pipes and injectiors. Not sure the engine front plate would be the same if the pump type changed. You'd probably have trouble rigging a cold start, but could just set the pump to cold start position, and live with the 1000 rpm hot idle (like most older XUDs do anyway...!)
