Nope, not a treehugger thread!
Went to the Cape Classic motorshow yesterday, and there were some beautiful cars on display - including a 1901 Albion.

On it was a sign:

Please do not touch!

This skirt is made from genuine elephant hide and cannot be replaced.

And you thought you had problems getting spares for that 70s Ford?



There was also a 1937 Rolls-Royce - ECG1 - which had a black paintwork finish so good that it was like a mirror.
I have some pics where you can see the detail on a COKE tin, 100% clear, though reversed. AwesomE
