Still dont think the bit where the road wheels roll up hill would work.
|
Yeah, that does seem to defy the laws of physics, considering they will have attained little momentum at the speed they roll at. Still a really cool ad though! Some of the comments state its animated, but its real apparently (took over 600 takes).
|
Didn't they put weights into the wheel to make it roll upwards? They only roll a small distance about a quarter turn if that
|
Weights in the wheel would make sense yeah from a momentum perspective. The wipers moving across the floor is mad!

It certainly looks like that. If you keep your eye on the second wheel, you can see it rock back and forth, as the weight settles.

Apparantly. www.honestjohn.co.uk/forum/post/index.htm?t=11966&...e

Honda have done another great ad (IMO) using ASIMO this time - all aimed at demonstrating Honda as being a high technology company that focuses on mobility.

I forgot to add (where's that edit button). Apparently ASIMO is not just a play thing for Honda - they used it to develop their Collision Mitigation technology that they are starting to offer in their cars (Legend and CRV at the moment).
They also want to develop him/her/it to be a tool for the disabled - what a fantastic idea.

I prefer this one.........

But do these ads mean Honda build great cars, or just that they have a good advertising agency??
IIRC the Morris Ital received plenty of plaudits for their adverts....
