Can anyone advise on how to replace the door seals on a 406 (HDI saloon 2000 X). Specifically, it's the window seals outside the car and the seal at the bottom of the doors that runs from front to back.

The front window seals have a screw inside the door - just undo this screw and pull the seal out? The bottom seal looks like it has little snap-in fittings but I don't want to pull it off just in case!

And what are these bits likely to cost? I hope not a lot...

I don't know about window, but bottom door seal, if same as my 98 406 uses the little clips. I bought some a while back, if I recall correctly only a few pence each. The're just push in fittings.

Door bottom seal is about £15 from Peugeot. Don't know about fitting, but the garage did that (and a couple of other small jobs) with half an hour's labour on my 1996 car.
