I guess the moral of this tale is to try more than one sample of a car before buying ,so you know what noises are/aren't normal.. We've had this car for nearly a year, but I still can't accept that the cabin/road noise is normal.It's like a muffled metallic rolling noise. The pitch doesn't change with speed or road surface. It's just there in the background all the time and turning up the radio doesn't help. Admittedly it hasn't got any worse in 6000 miles but, with the warrantee about to expire, can anyone assure me that this is normal for this model.
