car insurance - Tony Hall
For what it is worth. I am a member of the National Trust. With their car insurance I saved £98 last year and it has gone DOWN this year! £282 for fully comp on my Rover 420GSDi including full home and roadside recovery and legal expenses. The RAC quoted about £132 for their service alone! I am very happy to know that £20 goes to NT and that I can visit their places mostly free of charge as well.

Tony, it does sound a good deal. I still have a trade policy, which has gone up around 20% this year to £800, so I'm envious. As I am no longer in the trade as such, I have tried to get my and my wife's cars insured seperately on a normal ploicy, and I cannot find any one to either offer insurance, or give me any of the full NCB from the trade policy. The best I could get was around £1000 for the two cars.
