The new advisory rates for company vehicle has just been revised to take into account higher fuel prices see here:

www.hmrc.gov.uk/cars/fuel_company_cars.htm (sorry cannot seem to do a link to web site).

however they have decided that the fuel rate for 2000cc is increased from previous rates given, but less than 2000cc the rate will remain the same.reason given is to reflect increase in fuel economy since 2001 of these smaller engined vehicles.Well does any one agree with this statement?

Do you know if they have revised the statutory mileage rates for using your own vehicle for work? Since April 2002 they have been 40p per mile for the first 10,000 miles p.a. then 25p for any further miles.
