Does this stuff work? You spray it on and it reflects the speed camera flash back so well that it overexposes the film & disguises your number plate.

Not according to reports.
ISTR it is a specific offense now as well if plod spots it when you're parke or being followed.

since driving with no number plates at all, or having them completely covered with bike rack, or dirt, or paint, or anything else is only (if you were ever to be pulled by the police which lets face it is incredibly unlikely) a small fine and NO points, its an option worth considering if you need to go on a long journey and need to keep your licence, sadly this is how the system makes people think - im not endorsing it

better still nick a car, put false plates on it, and the only traffic enforcement around (cameras) doesnt apply to you

Tell me about it, it's like making attempted murder a crime. I mean, it's not like you've killed someone ;)

I suppose it's just 'an attempt to pervert the course of justice'
