Accord Alternator - cdbr

Could anyone tell me where I might get a replacement alternator for my 99 VTEC 2.0l Accord. Honda want £300+ which is robbery.

Try your local motor factors In Yellow pages. Lucas or blue print should be satisfactory. AFAIK they are about £160 if you exchange your old one. Then you will have to pay someone reliable to instal the new one or DIY. If Honda quote £300 I would expect them to fit it for this price. Honda garages do provide good service but some parts are too dear. HTH Mike.
