Civic Oxygen Sensor - Al Civic
Civic 3 door 1.6 esi
I have just been told by a Honda dealer that my car requires a new oxygen sensor. This will cost about £170 including vat and fitting. Can this kind of part be sourced from else where and fitted by my self?
Also is it possible that there is nothing wrong with the sensor and it is something else that is at fault eg the catalytic converter?

Same problem on my Accord - seems like a common problem on Hondas. Mine cost £300 to repair. For older Accords there is a after market part. Not sure how easy it is to fit.

Does any one know if an oxygen sensor and a Lambda sensor are the same thing? And are they usually mounted at the injection rail fuel on the engine?
