help pse, you enterprising people - need to get a BMW driving relative (in his early 30s) out of the way for most of the day on Sat 26 June, while his surprise party is prepared for the evening.
any thoughts for an event/attraction, preferably motoring related, reachable within area a couple of hours max fm Surrey (Epsom)?

Goodwood festival of speed is on at that weekend. It is a 50 mile drive though. But being a beemer owner I can't imagine he exactly dawdles! It is all pre-booked now but he'll probably assume that is his surprise if you don't tell him about it until the day. Hopefully he won't be reading this discussion....
