Do trade.sales.co.uk do part exchange? If so, what do they base their buying price for your car (glass\'s guide for instance), and is it generally a fair price or rock bottom?

I\'ve just had a browse around their site and cannot find any info at all.

If this is Slough, my experience was a bit below rock bottom - but then their car prices were, in some cases, spectacularly keen, so I didn't expect much else.

Yes, they do do p/x (my uncle's car came from there, although he didn't have a swapper) but if your car is more than two years old, it will be auctioned, and they'll almost certainly want profit from that as they don't seem to have the margins to allow them to absorb a more 'comforting' price for the customer.

They also have a large and expensive accessories section, which they promote quite heavily, and are unsurprisingly keen on selling finance with the cars.

100% in agreement with smokie.

Take a look at jamjars part exchange valuation service this will probably be in line with trade sales.
The valuation seems to be much less than auction values.
