Stand In Value.

It's a trade term for what they consider the car's true value is to the dealership, what it "owes" the dealership when the shift it on. In a pure sale, anything over and above SIV on moving the metal is profit. Once you get into offsetting any over-allowance on any p/ex taken against your P/ex it starts to get rather more complicated.....
