Tyre recommendation - Mondeo - jasp
I have to replace two front tyres on a 1998 Mondeo 1.8LX.
I have been recommended Goodyear Eagle NCT 5 tyres by a Ford Main Dealer.
I have not used Goodyear tyres previously so would appreciate any positive/negative feedback from people who have used them.

I asked the same question a while ago wrt my 97 Mondeo Estate TD
185/65/r14 Michelins on the front are coming due for a change i reckon there is 2k left in them .The replies covered Goodyear NCT 5 , Pirelli P6000, Dunlop SP200 and Continentals
Quite a varied response and all available for a fitted price of £ 39 Or less a wheel.
I am tempted to buy the Continental Eco Contacts from the AA as they are
1. Cheapest by £ 3 a tyre
2. The garage is near and i,ve had no problems from the tyres they fitted to the rear ( Avon CR 322)

I understand a Focus is very different from a Mondeo but I'm sure my Dad's saloon has Pirelli P6000's on it. The car handles...amazingly to be honest.
