Its easy to remove the radio using the standard fork type extraction tool available for about £2 from any accessory shop.
There are a pair of holes each side of the front panel of the radio to insert the prongs of the tool. There may be threaded plugs in the holes which can be removed with an allen key. However you must remember that the corsa radio display is up next to the clock and you will lose this facility if you change the radio- you will just have the date displayed instead.
The corsa radio sits in the dashboard in its own special mounting tray with all the electrical connections fitted to the bottom of the tray. You will have to replace this with a standard DIN dash mount- again readily available and cheap. You will probably have to replace the aerial, power supply and speaker plugs but this is normal when swapping radios. Just ensure that the replacement radio/cd is the standard DIN size- most of them are.

Has it got its own display.I would have thought so?

Get a ready made adapter lead to go from the existing radio loom plug to your new radio. Halfords sell these (£10?) and aerial cable adapters too which I think you will need with a Vauxhall. By doing this you'll be able to return the car to the standard radio if you sell it later and you'll also have no hassle wiring the radio up. This method won't work if you want to fit power amps that shake the doors off as the existing wiring won't be heavy enough duty!
