Has the site given up on questions? Now titled "Recently Answered Questions" I have not seen any new questions for some weeks now

TBH most of their 'journalistic' output has slumped since Heycar took over. The pandemic effect didn't help, especially given the dearth of new vehicles to review and previous restrictions on travel. Aussie YT motoring journo John Cadogan is now just commenting on 'issues' via his garage studio with no reviews for ages now. Most are consumer-related, but at least he can respond to viewer comments.

I suspect that the HJ site has had to furlough / cut back the usage of / lay off quite a few staff during this 'fallow period', including on the Q&A section, noting that one of them who has answered questions in the last few years is now doing HJ's old job at the Telegraph.

Some unnecessary clutter removed from the thread.

I know no more than any of you, tbh I don't look at the main site very often as most of my time on HJ is spent in the forum or dealing with emails. However the editorial team do keep an eye on what is being written in the Backroom so maybe one of them will comment.

At least the reviews are still coming in. The latest on the updated Corolla is funny.

The 'cons' of buying one says:

"A Volkswagen Golf is perhaps a more stylish choice."

Hahahaha.

If you haven't noticed this seems to be running again.
