So...

Drive a Fiat Punto down a set of steps to try and wake your boyfriend up - he certainly would wake up when the low-grade Fiat glue gave up!

Drive a Ford Fiesta on the moon, pretending it's a skateboard? Hmmm. Can't it cope with UK roads?

Mattster,

No matter banal or ridiculous lengths the advertising people go to in order to advertise their product, the important thing is to leave the brand inplanted in your psyche.

For me, one of the most memorable ads in recent times was the one for Toyota where the angelic child in the back seat after the school run, to the astonishment of the female driver tells her to "shut up and just keep on driving" (or words to that effect).

Curiously the ad which took advertising to a new plain...where an assortment of mechanical objects fluidly triggered movement of the next to the end product of moving the car off the ramp leaves me in doubt as to the product beiong advertised. Was it Honda ?
