Ford Focus 2 Stage Locking Disabling - Rdw
Can anyone tell me how to disable the 2 stage remote unlocking? The handbook says \'your dealer can do this.\' I asked my dealer, and they had never heard of it? I have looked at the \'mirez website\' and tried the Mondeo instructions\' but they don’t work with the 1999 focus. Appreciate any help.

Dealers can do it, I had mine done (99 Focus) but from one press to two presses - drivers door first then other doors. Why do you want to change from two to one press, I never found it a problem pressing the button twice.

Goes something like this...

Unlock then hold down - lock and unlock - on the remote for approx. 4 seconds (indicators will flash).

Works to both enable and disable (i think)
