Honda Prelude - Car radio removal help - wolfenstolme

The radio on my Honda Prelude cuts out intermittently, I want to check if it's a connection issue.

I've tried to remove the radio but after I get the cover off one of the screws holding the radio assembly just spins leaving it trapped.

I can't see what's holding it in and I have no idea how I can get this screw out nothing I've tried seems to remotely move it. Please help.

Have you removed the plastic centre panel that surrounds the radio and heater controls?

Yeah got that off no problem, it's the sort of carrier thing the radio is in I can't remove.

Tried no joy there's not enough screw head to get a grip on.

Get a thin screwdriver behind the metal bracket and carefully lever it forward while undoing the screw.
