Battery chargers in relation to engine sizes - Trilogy.

My battery charger states it's for engines 1800 cc and over. Does that mean I can't use it to charge a 1600 cc engine?

Can’t really see the relationship between engine size and battery charger. I use a smart charger that recharges any 12 volt battery.

Could it mean it charges at a higher current than another charger in the range?
