Golf gttdi 2.0 4 motion - Turbo problem - Simon/gttdi

Can anyone help me need advice my golf gttdi has lost power feels like the turbo isn’t working there’s no light on dash appart from the traction light plugged it into a computer and came up with a p-0299 code not sure if the turbo has gone the car isn’t smoking bad or anything.. ????
