Hi All,

I've just bought an aluminium roof basket. It came with brackets to attach to roof rack, but they're not wide enough for my thule aerowing bars. It also came with it's own roof rack bars, but the brackets to attach them are no good for my roof rails.

The basket happens to be the same width as the rails and sits on top of them nicely. Or it sits on the thule bars.

Try as I might I can't seem to find anything suitable to attach it - I had imagined I could buy some strong rubber straps with a ratchet, but it looks like this doesn't exist. Hoping someone here might have some ideas how I could do this! Obviously I want something that will grip it tightly so it won't go anywhere.
