Ford Galaxy - Crankshaft sensor - Paul Teehan

Me again. Intermittent starting still haunting me. I'm thinking of replacing my crankshaft sensor to rule it out.

According to the Haynes manual there is one model engine where you dont have to remove the crankshaft pulley.

My engine is QXWB.

Do I have the easy option?

Thanks

Looks like you have the Ford/Peugeot 2.0 diesel motor here. Pretty sure this needs crank pulley to be removed to replace the cps sensor. You need to be very careful when doing this ,as the magnetic impulse ring is bonded to the back of the pulley, and is easily damaged. Any other bits you are thinking of replacing to fix this problem?? Playing "parts darts" to fix cars is not the way forward.
